Former Racine Mayor Gary Becker was sentenced to three years in jail by Judge Stephen Simanek today after pleading guilty to attempted second-degree sexual assault of a child and child enticement on December 22nd of last year.
Before sentencing, Judge Simanek said that he would’ve given Becker probation had he not entered a Boston Store on February 16th and purchased several lingerie items. This lapse in judgement on Becker’s part cost him his freedom.
