The Milwaukee Brewers will host their second block party of 2011 this Saturday at Tippecanoe Park in Milwaukee (1411 E. Warnimount Ave.) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The Block Party is free of charge and is sponsored by U.S. Bank.
The Brewers again have scheduled three “Brewers Block Parties” this summer throughout the Milwaukee area. This marks the fifth season the Brewers have hosted the events throughout the community. The 2011 Brewers Block Parties are supported by the events’ presenting sponsor, U.S. Bank, along with Pepsi, Klement’s, SportService and the team’s broadcasting partners, Newsradio 620 WTMJ and FS Wisconsin.
All Brewers Block Parties will feature appearances from Brewers players and coaches, Brewers radio personalities, Bernie Brewer, the Klement’s Famous Racing Sausages, and U.S. Bank’s Captain Shield. Raffle prizes featuring Brewers game tickets, game-used memorabilia and other autographed items will also be given away to fans in attendance each day. The Brewers merchandise trailer will be on hand with the latest in Brewers apparel. Free hot dogs, soda and potato chips will be provided for roughly 300 people.
Players and coaches will arrive around 11:30 a.m. and will attend for approximately 45 minutes. The players and coaches will first participate in a question and answer session, followed by an autograph session.
